New Hope Community Center: Community Recreation Center
Location: NEC 16th Street and Portland Street - Phoenix, Arizona
Gilmore Graves was selected as part of the design team to prepare the landscape and hardscape design for a recreation center in this neighborhood in revival. As an urban infill, non-profit funded project, Gilmore Graves provided plans on a pro-bono basis. The project includes an indoor gymnasium and several outdoor facilities including a soccer field, basketball court, volleyball courts, BMX bicycle track, and a skateboard park. Upon start of construction, Gilmore Graves will provide construction administration services including the review the selection of plant material, coordinate the final site grading, and inspect the landscape installation. And we're extremely excited to be a part of the positive revival movement in downtown Phoenix.
Hamilton Aquatic Center: Community pool and recreation facility.

Gilmore Parsons was selected as part of the design team to work on this community pool facility developed adjacent to the existing recreation center at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. Gilmore Graves worked closely with the design team and the staff at City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Department to program the requirements for the hardscape, landscape, and irrigation design associated with the aquatic center.
