Faith Church of the Valley: Worship Center and Sunday School Campus
Location: SWC Chandler Boulevard and Cottonwood Court- Chandler, Arizona
Gilmore Graves was selected as part of the design team for this new Worship Center to be developed in the blossoming community of Chandler, Arizona. Working closely with the architect to design the central courtyard hardscape, fountain, and pedestrian walkways, Gilmore Graves prepared the landscape and irrigation plans for the impressive three-building facility. Upon start of construction, Gilmore Graves will provide construction administration services including a review of the selection of plant material, coordination of the final site grading, and inspection of the landscape installation.

Temple Beth Israel: Jewish Worship Center and School Campus
Location: SWC Shea Boulevard and 56th Street - Phoenix, Arizona
Selected as part of the design team for this new multi-building campus and Worship Center for the Jewish Community, Gilmore Graves worked closely with the Rabbi, parishioner, General Contractor, Architect, and City Staff to program the project landscape and hardscape requirements, and to establish a reasonable and comfortable construction budget. Gilmore Graves prepared the landscape and irrigation design for the entire campus and assisted with the hardscape and site lighting layout. Through the initial construction, the staff of GG provided construction administration services as well. And as this community continues to grow, Gilmore Graves continues to assist. We are currently modifying the existing courtyard to meet current and future church demands.

East Valley Bible Church: Worship Center and Sunday School Campus
Location: NEC Elliot Road and William Dillard Drive - Gilbert, Arizona
This project consists of adding on to the existing worship center and office building, and the construction of three new buildings, including a 2,500-seat Worship Center, a Fellowship Hall, and a new office building for Church and school administrators. Gilmore Graves worked closely with the Pastor, his staff, and the project architect to program the scope and character of the landscape and hardscape. We also crafted a site plan that merges the new facilities with the old to create a campus theme. Gilmore Graves and the architect designed the central courtyard hardscape and pedestrian walkways. With the large number of parishioners attending weekend services, much attention was given to the pedestrian and vehicular circulation throughout the campus and parking lot. As part of the scope of services for this project, Gilmore Graves prepared an inventory of the existing landscape and completed the design to modify the existing landscape as well as the design of the new landscape associated with the additional buildings, courtyard, and parking. Upon start of construction this spring, GG will also provide construction administration services including a review of the selection of plant material, coordination of the final site grading, and inspection of the landscape installation.

Trinity Lutheran Church: Neighborhood Church and Children's Recreation Center
Location: 9424 North Seventh Avenue - Phoenix, Arizona
Gilmore Graves was selected as part of the design team to work on this Church Sanctuary addition. Gilmore Graves completed the site plan modifications to the existing Church and provided the design and layout for the parking areas, project sign, site walls, courtyards, and columbarium. Working closely with the Pastor and his assistants, Gilmore Graves crafted a site plan, prepared the hardscape design and details for the courtyard and columbarium, that all met the Church's goals and objectives. This included designing the church sign, and prepared the landscape improvement plans for the entire church campus. Throughout the entire design and construction process, Gilmore Graves continues to provide construction administration services to keep the project within budget and to coordinate the selection and location of materials. This project is currently on schedule, and we'll soon be providing approval of the final site grading, hardscape, and landscape installation.

Saint Peter & Paul Church: Church Addition
Location: 1614 East Monte Vista Drive - Phoenix, Arizona
Gilmore Graves was selected as part of the design team to prepare the landscape design associated with remodeling the existing building and the addition of a new Church. Gilmore Graves worked closely with the owner and the City of Phoenix to provide aesthetic but minimal landscape improvements that fit within their limited budget. We prepared the landscape and irrigation construction documents for this small, downtown Phoenix church. And once again, couldn't be more excited to be a part of the revival of the downtown area.

The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints: Community Church
Location: State of Arizona
Gilmore Graves has provided landscape architectural services on more than two dozen LDS churches throughout the state of Arizona. Our staff coordinated with the owners and project team members to program the project landscape. Working as members of the project design team on each project, Gilmore Graves prepared the landscape and irrigation design and assisted with the site planning and hardscape layout. Throughout the construction period, our staff assisted with the selection of plant material and coordination of the final site grading and installation of the landscape and irrigation.
