Gilmore Parsons: Landscape Architecture Project Types: Retail Centers

Pima Crossing: 29-acre shopping center
Location: NWC of Pima Road and Shea Boulevard; Scottsdale, AZ
Client: Kitchell Development & Marcellus & Associates
This commercial center was developed under three separate phases. The final landscape featured native trees and a substantial area of natural revegetation. Not only did this minimize maintenance, but by preserving a large portion of the natural habitat, it minimized the impact of construction on the natural landscape. Gilmore Parsons also aided in management tasks by processing a Native Plant Survey and preparing the construction documents for the project landscape.

Wigwam Outlet Stores: Landscape and hardscape design
Location: NWC Litchfield Rd. & I-10; Goodyear, AZ
Client: SunCor Development Corp.
Gilmore Parsons brought unique hardscape design and water features to this factory outlet mall. Tasked with designing the pedestrian circulation, an outdoor food court, and a landscape around the food court, Gilmore Parsons created a lush oasis in the food court, and an landscape that beautifully transitioned to a desert situation with specimen cactus species.
